If you tow or haul near the truck's rating, yes. Load range E carries more weight at a higher pressure, which is what keeps the sidewall from overheating under a loaded bed or a trailer tongue. If the truck is a daily driver that rarely carries anything, an E rides harsher than you need and a lighter range will wear better and ride softer. Tell us what you actually do with it and we will match the tire to that, not to the badge on the tailgate.

For a truck that lives on I-95 and Federal Highway, a highway tire is quieter, lasts longer and handles wet roads better, and we get a lot of rain. All terrains earn their keep if you are on sand, a boat ramp, a job site or grass regularly. The aggressive tread is louder and wears faster on pavement, so it is worth being honest with yourself about how often you actually leave the road.

Yes. A taller tire covers more ground per turn, so the speedometer reads low and the odometer under-counts your miles. Going up an inch in overall diameter is usually two to three percent, and more than that is worth correcting in the truck's computer. A lift also changes the alignment angles, so plan on an alignment after the fit. We will tell you what a given size will do to your truck before you commit to it.

Go by the placard in the driver's door jamb, not by the number molded into the tire, which is the maximum rather than the recommendation. Most trucks want the rear pressure raised toward that maximum when loaded and brought back down when empty, or the center of the tread wears out. Set it cold, before you drive. Bring the truck in loaded the way you tow it and we will set all four properly.
